Garlic & Herb Croutons

We love to enjoy these homemade garlic and herb croutons on a crispy, homemade Caesar Salad once in a while. They are also delicious enough to snack on themselves!

Homemade Garlic & Herb Croutons

4 cups cubed bread, crusts removed
3 Tablespoons olive oil
4 cloves garlic, finely minced
2 teaspoons chopped fresh thyme
1 teaspoon chopped fresh rosemary
Salt & Pepper to taste

Preheat oven to 325° F. Heat the oil in a nonstick skillet over medium-low heat. Sauté the garlic, thyme, and rosemary for 1 minute, or until fragrant. Remove the pan from the heat. Add the bread cubes to the skillet, and toss gently with the oil mixture. Spread the bread cubes in one layer on a rimmed baking sheet. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Bake for until golden brown (about 10-15 minutes), stirring occasionally. Cool and serve. The croutons can be stored for several days in an airtight container.
